The founders of SONGTAKE were tired of losing their best ideas. A riff at 2am, a chorus in the back of a van, a harmony that hit in rehearsal—they'd grab their phone, hit record, and hope for the best. Voice memos piled up, unnamed and unsearchable. When they wanted to record a band take, they juggled multiple apps: one for audio, another for video, then hours syncing everything by hand. Nothing kept audio and video in the same place, from the first idea to the finished demo.
So they built what they wished they'd had: an app that treats your idea as one thing—audio and video together—in one ecosystem. Capture it fast, organize it, build on it with multiple phones or AI stems, and share it when it's ready. No more graveyards of forgotten recordings. No more switching apps. Two Modes: Ideas & Demos
Save Ideas: Capture quick video clips of your musical ideas in small, compressed format to save phone space. Perfect for documenting riffs, melodies, and rehearsal moments.
Make Demos: When you're ready to record a real demo, switch to multicam mode. One tap starts all phones at once—each phone adds a new video angle and its own stereo mics near the source for cleaner, more mixable sound. Everything auto-syncs and saves to the cloud. No DAW or timeline editing required. Desktop app optional when you want more than 8 mics.

Recorded with SongTake: Lucas and Cris have been writing music together for the past 20 years. With Thiago on the drums they formed camel_case to bring their introspective, existentialist, sometimes terribly sad songs with that 90s vibe.
