How do I record multiple tracks?
Tap the record button to start your first track. After recording, tap the "+" button to add additional tracks. You can record up to 16 simultaneous video tracks with Studio Access.
Do I need headphones to record?
No! SONGTAKE is designed to work without headphones. You can record your band in stereo mode and split the tracks later, or record with multiple phones wirelessly.
How much storage do I get?
Free accounts get 250MB storage. Studio Access provides 1TB, and Patrons get 1.5TB. All recordings are stored in the cloud, so they don't take up space on your phone.
Can I collaborate with other musicians?
Yes! With Studio Access, you can share projects and collaborate with other musicians remotely. Everyone can add their tracks to the same project.
How do I export my recordings?
Tap the share button on any project to export your recording. Studio Access includes advanced export templates for different platforms and purposes.
Common Issues
App crashes when recording
Make sure you have enough storage space and restart the app. If the problem persists, contact support with your device model and iOS version.
Audio is out of sync
Close other apps running in the background and ensure you have a stable internet connection. Try recording in airplane mode for local-only recording.
Can't hear playback
Check your device volume and ensure silent mode is off. Make sure no Bluetooth headphones are connected if you want to use the speaker.
Login issues
Make sure you're using the correct Apple ID or email. If you're still having trouble, try logging out and logging back in.
