Subscription Plans and Storage

Songtake offers three subscription tiers with different storage allocations:

GARAGE DEMO (Free Plan): 250MB storage
STUDIO ACCESS ($9.99/month or $89.99/year): 1TB storage
PATRONS ($15.99/month or $143.99/year): 1.5TB storage

All plans include AES-256 encryption for stored data and SSL/TLS encryption during data transfer.

Authentication Methods

Songtake doesn't collect user passwords for login and instead utilizes:

Email magic sign-in links
SMS authentication
Social login

Two-factor authentication is optional through authenticator apps or SMS.

App Permissions

Songtake may request the following permissions from your device:

Microphone: Required to record audio for music creation (core functionality)
Camera: Required to record video for video tracks (optional feature)
Storage: Required to save and load files locally on your device
Notifications: Used for authentication codes and collaboration updates (optional)
Internet: Required for cloud synchronization and account management
Motion & Orientation Sensors: Used for multi-angle recording features (optional)
Background Audio: Enables audio recording and playback when the app is in the background

App Store & Google Play Requirements

The App Store and Google Play Store require us to disclose that:
